Special Guest Opportunity for our Global Leadership Curriculum

This session at DMF Youth, we are focusing on global leadership and culture!  Each week, we will introduce a new country to students and explore the dances, foods, leaders, traditions and more of each country.  We will be working in our signature Awesome Human Journal and children will get to fill in their “passports” as we travel around the globe.

While we have ten countries in our curriculum, we would LOVE to amplify and celebrate our students’ own cultures, heritage, and traditions – this is where YOU come in!

Is there a country your child has lineage to and you’d like us to present? 

Do you or someone you know have a story or cultural tradition you’d like to share with our students?

Is there a yummy cuisine or traditional trinket you’d like to donate to the class? 

There are SO many options and we are open to many opportunities. The countries currently in our curriculum are:

  • Mexico
  • Dominican Republic
  • India
  • China
  • Spain
  • France
  • South Africa
  • Senegal
  • Brazil
 
However, we are open to adding more countries and/or swapping out to explore the cultures of our participants!
